Ok, listen up, Cornbread has fessed up to premature evaluation and has one chapter already under his belt. So to stop the rest of you falling behind, I'm setting down some rules:
- If you've got the book, start reading but keep schtum until you've finished it.
- Then leave a short post to let club members know you're done .
- When everyone's finished the book, we'll start discussing it.
Is everyone ok with this? Anyone got any better ideas? Anyone met my cousin, Luigi?

dear ms bossy boss,
have you met my cousin, ted? http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/the_awful_truth/index.html
excited.
Sadly, corny, 'Sorry, the old-school E! Online page you're looking for is no longer available', so no, I haven't. (And that really is my lovely cousin in one of his publicity shots - he's an actaw, you know!)
and that really is my lovely cousin. is too! http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/the_awful_truth/index.html
he's a gay gossip columnist, you know. and an actaw. nanner-nanner.
tell her, josephine. our cousin can beat her cousin up, can't he.
Beat my cousin up with a name like that? Who does he think he is, Humphrey Bogart?
bruce bibby took his very disapproving father's 1st name (uncle ted was mortified til the very end) and added the casablanca for unknown reasons.
ok, maybe not beat him *up*...
*snort* OOh I've just had a brainwave...casablanca = white house....Mary Whitehouse = famous prudish British campaigner ...would probably have been most dischuffed to have a gay gossip columnist name himself after her...witty ole Ted!
Bossy McBossypants,
Are there any rules regarding unofficial, I might read along as I can but I never know when I can actually read a book so don't want to be an official member members?
Hmmm?
I've ordered the book from my library.
P.S. I don't have any famous cousins. Somewhere in my ancestry there is a link (possibly by marriage) to Laura Ingalls Wilder, does that count?
To answer the last question first, umm, dunno, what do you think team?
And vice-versa...PLEASE join the club and swell the ranks! We won't give you a hard time if you can't keep up, promise!
